Summer Means It’s Vacation Time
The weathers warm, children will be out of school and that means it’s time for vacation and every year it seems to be a big decision where to go and what hotel to stay.
Most of us can live with all these decisions because it means time away from work and time to have fun and relax. There is one thing that does plague some of us, and that is when it comes to the hotel just what do they have for television? It might seem unimportant to many but when you think about it seriously after a day of fun with the family, after dinner and some evening fun it is back to the hotel room. There is nothing better than going back to a room that has business satellite TV, where you can see the programs you usually watch, movies and sports.
Then of course the worst can always happen on vacation and you better hope for satellite TV in the room and that is a day of rain. The children without their toys, with out their computers and other gadgets makes for a ruff day if there is nothing but local channels on the tube.
So, when it comes to vacation and your checking out the hotels it could be a wise choice to make certain they have a satellite TV provider like the commercial DirecTV you have at home to ensure a fun vacation rain or shine.
So if a hotel has the same satellite package as I do at home, what is the price difference they pay for it vs. what I pay?

A large Hotel will actually pay allot less per room than you would in your residential home. The reason is simple, A hotel will provide service to potentially 1,000 plus rooms, so they pay per room for a basic package and then more for movie channels… and this would add up to thousands if not tens of thousands per month for Directv to provide service to one property. A smaller hotel or motel would not pay nearly as much simply because they only have 50 to 200 rooms.
