This will not only brighten the day of the sports fan at home, it will also make it a better day at the sports bar where before there might have been a sports channel on with a sports show talking about the blackout game and now it will be watching the game at the sports bar.

This has been a way that is used to protect the networks, the sports leagues and the teams that are the rights holders for these blacked out games. It has also been to the annoyance of sports fans that had to either search channels for the games and hope for the correct timing or else miss the game and hear about it later on sports news.

The news is out that in August DirecTV will be debuting a new network, the Mountain West Sports Network. August 27^th is the date set to cover the NCAA conference and that will be in the nick of time for the start of the 10^th season and for sports fans this is exciting as the first full coverage of NCAA programming. This is really going to benefit businesses looking to get Directv for their business.

In some states like Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming this network will be on the Choice packages and also in the cities of Dallas/Ft. Worth and San Diego.
